For this first edition of Sim Formula Europe we don’t hold back.
We’ve got everything to give you the most exciting sim racing experience ever! We’ll give you a better insight in the new world of esports and sim racing. There will be exciting races to watch. Professional sports commentators will boost the races with commentary and interviews. The best simracers in Europe will compete live on stage. Feel the speed, adrenaline and passion from up close.
Top brands have stands where you can test the latest features in sim racing.
THURSDAY. The esports convention provides answers to everything you ever wanted to know about the world of esports, and sim racing in particular. We’ve got speakers from all over Europe telling you all there is to know about marketing, current numbers and developments in esports. What can esports mean for your organisation? Is it just a game or is it a sport? ‘It is the dream of every boy to become a professional race driver’. Or is it? 'It might be the dream to become world’s fastest gamer?’
FRIDAY. Experience the excitement of sim racing by driving a professional race simulator yourself. A team of professionals will guide you. In the morning we have a seminar for students interested in the science behind esports.
SATURDAY. Game on! Who’s the fastest simracer of Sim Formula Maastricht? Everybody can try if he or she is the fastest on track and go home with the title and prize.
SUNDAY. Come and see the best sim racers in Europe race. Qualified through an online competition the best racers will come to Maastricht to compete against each other live on stage. Come see the finals and find out who is the first winner of Sim Formula Europe and will go home with the highest prize money ever won in the Benelux!
The race arena has 1,058 seats available to watch the races on Saturday and Sunday. There will be multiple sims on stage, a big screen and a broadcasting studio for livestreaming and professional sports commentary.
